Description
Designed for upper primary to junior secondary students aged 10 to 14, this course introduces the fundamentals of coding through Apple’s official app, Swift Playgrounds. With no prior programming experience required, students will begin their journey by solving fun, interactive puzzles that build a solid foundation in Swift—Apple’s powerful and intuitive programming language. As the course progresses, students will explore how to design simple applications and create engaging AR (Augmented Reality) experiences using built-in tools. The hands-on lessons are accessible yet intellectually stimulating, blending creativity and logic in a highly visual format. Students will gain problem-solving skills, digital literacy, and an understanding of how modern technology shapes the world around them. All participants are required to bring their own iPad with the Swift Playgrounds app installed, or may use one provided by the school. This course offers an ideal entry point into both app development and immersive tech creation.
