Description
This hands-on workshop introduces students to the art of ceramics through both functional and sculptural projects. From shaping a fantasy-inspired animal figurine to crafting a personalized tea cup, planter, and candle holder, students will explore the creative possibilities of clay using hand-building techniques. They will learn to express form, texture, and storytelling through each piece, culminating in kiln-fired, underglaze-painted artworks. The course also features collaborative projects such as ceramic board games and wind chimes, encouraging teamwork and imaginative thinking. Two dedicated painting sessions allow students to refine their creations with layered color, pattern, and fine detail. Throughout the course, students will develop technical ceramic skills, design thinking, and artistic confidence in a supportive studio environment. No prior experience is required—only curiosity and a willingness to get hands-on with clay. All works will be beautifully finished and ready to take home by the end of the program.
